The Honest Part

Your Panel Decides, Not The Brochure

A Level 2 charger is one of the largest loads in a home. Here's roughly what panels handle — we confirm with a real load calculation before quoting.

Process

Charger On The Wall In Three Steps

STEP 01

Load calculation

Photos of your panel plus a short call. We compute actual capacity — no site-visit fee to find out.

STEP 02

Written quote

Charger, circuit, permit, inspection — one number. If a panel upgrade is needed, it's in the same quote, not a surprise later.

STEP 03

Install & inspect

Most installs finish in half a day. County inspection passed, app connected, and you charge that night.

FAQ

Asked At Every Kitchen Table

Do I really need a permit for a charger?

In Virginia, yes — it's a new dedicated circuit. We pull the permit and meet the inspector; homes with unpermitted chargers routinely hit insurance and resale problems.

Can't I just plug into a dryer outlet?

Splitter kits exist, but most violate code and some void EV warranties. A dedicated circuit costs less than people expect and charges faster, safely.

What does an install typically cost?

Straightforward garage installs on a ready panel land in a predictable range; long runs or panel upgrades add to it. You'll have the exact number in writing before we start — that's the whole point of the load calc.
